Current the office base for the Burnley and Pendle CwD Team is being identified and therefore there is increased agile working, utilising a range of office bases and the local short break childrens home for Team working.About the Role:
- Provide comprehensive social work support to children and young people with severe and profound disabilities and their families.
- Undertake a variety of social work tasks, including assessment work, supporting children and young people through Child in Need (CiN) Plans and Child Protection (CP) Plans, and facilitating transitions for care leavers.
- Work closely with other professionals and services to ensure holistic support for families.
- Embrace a strengths-based, partnership approach to social work, focusing on building positive relationships and empowering families.
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years' experience in children's services
- Social Work England Registration
- Driving license and access to own vehicle
