- To Lead, manage and develop the Mechanical Engineering team
- Take ownership for Engineering activities for the projects. Consult the Sales and Execution organization on critical contract execution issues. Mitigate Risk and resolve critical discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
- To fully understand the projects specifications, customers expectations and to set up the correct and required design directions as well as to find the technical solution in problem areas.
- To communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal stake holder efficiently.
- To manage Engineering changes that may come up during the course of the project including all related information and communication / agreements w/r to cost/time impacts.
- Detailed understanding of filtration separation and purification technologies used in the processing (Direct flow filtration, cross flow filtration, stabilization) food and beverage process equipment.
- Responsible for the detailed technical process clarification (technology selection, sizing, design testing etc.) on requested equipment, including to take on the responsibility and ownership for the proposed equipment solution during project.
- B.E/B.Tech (Process/Chemical/Mechanical/Equivalent)
- Candidate with overall experience of 10-12 yrs
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience of detail engineering of equipment used in Food and beverage, Chemical or Biopharma industry
- Be prepared to travel abroad, etc.
- Good communication in skills in English and Portuguese. Proficiency of German would be an added advantage.
- Use of MS Office tools, SAP MM&PP, CAD Viewer
- Experience in qualification activities (FAT/SAT) for process equipment in the food and beverage or equivalent industry.
- Experience of working with CAD Systems (Autodesk Inventor; Navisworks)
