The largest change to the provincial health-care system in a generation is laying the foundation for strategic system realignment and improved patient care.The Provincial Health System Transformation project aims to improve patient care and support strategic healthcare system alignment by leading the coordinated planning and integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services and delivering centralized business functions to support care delivery. The transformation requires proven, province-wide leadership with broad jurisdictional experience across multiple areas of clinical delivery and business functions to build an integrated leadership team and effective pan-system relationships that drive strategic and sustainable outcomes. Our client operates a jurisdictional tertiary hospital and provides a broad group of health delivery services spanning all areas of care across urban, rural, and remote areas.Education: * Post-secondary degree in business administration, finance, or public administration. A copy of the degree is required.
Scrum Master certification. Proof of certification is required.
Skill and Experience:Research and Analysis: 10 years of experience in research, analysis, costing, forecasting, and modeling to support management decision-making. This includes business analysis such as trend analysis, forecasting, and compensation models. Examples should demonstrate consolidating stakeholder input with data analysis. At least 3 examples totaling 10 years of experience are required.Analytical Skills: 5 years of experience in complex business policy and program analyses requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in data analysis, costing, forecasting, and modeling is necessary. At least 2 examples totaling 5 years of experience are required.Leadership: 5 years of experience directly leading analysts or business consultants in large-scale business transformation programs consisting of multiple concurrent projects. Examples should demonstrate planning work for a team, reviewing the quality of their work, and providing coaching. Experience should include managing analysis for planning, business case development, financial modeling, and/or value stream mapping. At least 2 examples totaling 5 years of experience are required.Healthcare Change Management: 5 years of experience implementing change in a healthcare environment. This includes analyzing/assessing healthcare service delivery activities and assisting the business through change and transformation.
