- Manage and maintain Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, and storage resources.
- Monitor and optimize resource utilization to ensure cost-effectiveness and performance.
- Implement automation and scripting for efficient management of cloud resources.
- Security Administration:
- Configure and manage security settings for Office 365 and Azure environments.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security groups.
- Monitor security alerts and incidents and respond promptly to mitigate risks.
- Email Security:
- Administer Barracuda Email Gateway to protect against email-borne threats.
- Implement and fine-tune email filtering policies to minimize spam and phishing attempts.
- Collaborate with the Infosec team to enhance email security posture.
- Endpoint Management:
- Utilize Intune for endpoint management and security configuration.
- Deploy and manage security policies, software updates, and device compliance checks.
- Troubleshoot endpoint issues and provide support to end-users as needed.
- Advanced Threat Protection (ATP):
- Configure and monitor ATP solutions to detect and respond to advanced threats.
- Analyze ATP alerts and investigate potential security incidents.
- Collaborate with the Infosec team to enhance ATP capabilities and threat detection mechanisms.
- Infrastructure Monitoring and Reporting:
- Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify performance issues and security vulnerabilities.
- Generate regular reports on system health, security status, and compliance posture.
- Recommend and implement improvements based on monitoring insights and analysis.
- Support for Infosec and Compliance:
- Assist the Infosec team in implementing security policies and procedures.
- Participate in compliance audits and provide necessary documentation and evidence.
- Collaborate with compliance officers to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Support incident response and forensic investigations as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience in cloud infrastructure management and security administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and related cloud technologies.
- Experience with email security solutions such as Barracuda Email Gateway.
- Familiarity with endpoint management tools like Microsoft Intune.
- Strong understanding of security best practices, protocols, and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-500).
- Experience with virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), particularly Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD).
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and protocols.
- Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+).
