This role includes the managing of the full spectrum of procurement activities. In addition, the jobholder needs to ensure procurement activities comply with company's procurement strategy and processes. The procurement of goods and services will be based on the business requirements. Process alignment to procurement approvals is essential and mandatory.Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to company's procurement strategy and policies for execution of procurement activities to meet targets and objectives. Align to Process and ensure approvals reviews are in place prior to execution.
  • Work with Internal and external Stakeholders to:
  • establish scope of work for services and/or requirements for products, and
  • validate scope of work and requirements
  • ensure timeline for delivery is in place and monitored
  • Source and identify new product or service providers, validate potential new vendors or existing incumbent for cost effective procurement
  • Price Competitiveness of the Product/Solution/ Services needs to be checked
  • Evaluate and negotiate with vendors/suppliers on the submitted quotations/proposals
  • For complex Project requirements, ensure Management guidance is in place for the procurement process and negotiation phases are in place especially for RFPs
  • Work with internal stakeholders to review service agreement/contracts and prepare proposal for Management's approval
  • Feedback on Terms and Conditions and ensure contracts are in place
  • Review of Contractual Terms and Conditions
  • Tighten the Terms and Conditions, where applicable
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies and equipment inventory.
Requirements:
  • Minimum DEGREE in Procurement/ Business Administration or related studies with 5 years of procurement experience
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Able to present on the Procurement Recommendations
  • Experienced in Procurement is required. Familiarity with vendors management process is a plus
