- Handle incoming calls with professionalism, taking messages, and providing accurate information as needed.
- Efficiently manage patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a seamless process from start to finish.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and confirmations, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
- Verify insurance eligibility and update patient information.
- Collect co-pays and patient payments with precision and courtesy.
- Utilize our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system effectively to maintain accurate patient records.
- Obtain referrals and prior authorizations, ensuring timely access to care.
- Manage confirmation calls and patient recalls supporting continuity of care.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and electronic health records.
- Prior experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes, and scheduling procedures is a plus
- Bilingual Preferred
