This will improve the Firm’s resilience posture and enable effective governance with clear accountability, decision making, and alignment with strategic objectives, thereby enhancing the ability to adapt, respond, recover, and learn from disruptions.The key responsibilities of the role include:Work with Operational Resilience Stakeholders and Non-Financial Risk Function to develop and maintain the Operational Resilience Framework and supporting strategiesAnalyze and collectively manage resilience efforts to achieve business outcomes for the resilience programEngages with senior leaders and relevant SMEs across Business Units to set and own resilience frameworks, policies, standards, and reportingSupport the development, implementation, and maintenance of resilience frameworks, policies, standards, and frameworks that align with business objectivesDevelop and implement key performance indicators across Operational Resilience aligned with key risk indicators as part of the Northern Trust’s overall risk appetiteIdentify, review, prioritize, monitor, and report on the multiple capabilities, milestones and tasks across the lines of businessSkills/ ExperienceThe successful candidate will benefit from having:Working knowledge of the appropriate standards and regulations e.g., ISO22301 and FCA/PRA/BoE and other country regulator’s publications in relation to Operational ResilienceSeveral years’ experience in Financial services, with prior experience working specifically within operational resiliencyManages related teams, sets team priorities, and allocates resources to align with business objectivesSignificant experience in Program Governance, Project Management, and Financial ServicesIn Depth Knowledge of business, technology, and risk managementHighly flexible and adaptable to change, self-motivated and able to independently drive resultsWorking with Us:As a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.
