Chief Operating OfficerOn behalf of one of our clients, we are now on the lookout for a Chief Operating Officer.Our client is a well-established Esports company with a Nordic presence. Their vision is to create state-of-the-art experiences for the world’s esports enthusiasts and gamers and connect brands & advertisers with this rapidly growing segment.About the roleAs the COO you will build upon, and continuously improve existing structures and frameworks, allowing the company’s different teams to work in a creative, yet smooth and efficient manner.Areas of responsibility include:

Establishing policies and structure supporting the execution of company vision, culture, and goals
Drive growth and a world-class experience, acquisition of new clients and business partners and manage existing ones.
Execution of business development strategies
Oversee day-to-day operations
Ensure high efficiency and quality metrics in all processes
Manage and follow up on quarterly goals, aligning operative business goals and roadmaps toward company key objectives
Execution on location- & product strategy, enabling start-up and expansion of new locations and/or products
Own and oversee engagement and retention metrics

The COO, together with the CEO, reports directly to the board of directors.Requirements

A well-established leader with experience in a start-up environment and the ability to inspire and motivate teams
Proven track record of driving sales, forming strategic partnerships, and achieving business growth targets
Very strong analytical skills and a highly structured and effective approach to problem-solving.
Experience in running operations on an executive level
Strong business acumen and a sense of financial sustainability
Experience working directly with board members and external investors
Proven track record of working with different locations
Experience from scaling up but also from daring to scale down what no longer works
Love for, and experience of gaming is a strong plus
