Due to rapid growth, our client is now seeking a Site Supervisor/Foreman to join their business on a permanent basis in their Construction division, based in Hemmant (Brisbane).What you will be doingThe successful candidate will be responsible, but not limited to the following duties:Implementation and management of safety throughout the planning phase and site delivery phases of projectsCoordinate and supervise trade labour, plant & equipment and material deliveries on the project siteReport to management regularly with progress updatesProvide technical and logistical support to trade subcontractorsAbility to apply on-the-spot problem solving solutions to the day-to-day scope of workConduct worksite safety and environmental inspectionsPerform Quality Assurance (QA) worksite inspections with client representativesResponsible for the overall productivity of staff within the workplaceWhat you will needExperience in the industrial building sector and construction trades industryTAFE Diploma or Trade Qualification in Construction is preferredProven competency in managing construction specific tradesMinimum 5 years in a Construction Site Supervisory role within the industrial sectorSound knowledge of National Construction Code and have the confidence to read and interpret construction drawings and engineering reportsEstablished capacity to provide consistent leadership and resolve site issues is essentialProvide assistance in the operational support and advice to team members and colleagues.Ability to oversee various minor projects at any one time.Have ambition to establish a long-term career opportunity with this expanding department within the companyWhat you will receiveAnnual Leave Loading 17.5%RDOFull maintained single cab Hilux (+ personal use)Mobile phone + laptopApply now!Sean -Recruitment CoordinatorPhone - sean.massey@workpac.comJob Reference - BSINDJ2024126930
