The Director of Transparency will be responsible for defining, refining, implementing, and monitoring all supporting processes to ensure transparency and traceability ensuring risk mitigation and compliance relative to key legislation. Additionally, this role will drive continuous improvement enabling JCG to stay a step ahead vs the industry. Finally, collaboration with various teams across the organization to uphold our commitment to ethical sourcing is a key expectation and deliverable.The Role + Purpose:Define, implement, and monitor the strategic processes, tools & practices to ensure transparency of our supply chain and raw materials in our products.Initial focus is on current supply chain transparency initiatives for all cotton & leather raw materials, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.Establish a close partnership with the legal team to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the legislative environment and all aspects of the supply chain.Work closely with the HKO Transparency documentation team to maintain accurate and up-to-date transparency documentation.Drive internal and external communications regarding transparency initiatives, including supplier communications and training.Continuously evaluate tools utilized to support T & T processes and deliverables, ensuring JCG is utilizing “best-in-class” solutions and approach as this space continues to evolve.Manage Oritain Testing processes, including coordination, communication, and reporting.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, sustainability, or related fields.Strong understanding of supply chain transparency & traceability processes, tools and external stakeholders, including knowledge of industry standards and best practices.Experience working with legal teams and navigating legislative environments related to supply chain transparency.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.Highly organized with strong project management skills.Experience with Oritain Testing or similar supply chain verification processes is a plus.Passion for sustainability and ethical sourcing practices.We welcome you to apply, even if you don't check all the boxes.
