We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Islington to assist with the appointment of a Mobile Engineer, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.Rate of Pay: £20.59 - £26.96 per hourResponsibilities:
  • You will be required to carry out all works in accordance with appropriate risk assessments and safe systems of work developed in conjunction with Corporate Health and Safety and in accordance with priorities detailed by the Building services manager .
  • You will work under the supervision of the Building Service Manager.
  • You will be responsible for various mechanical and electrical works at a range of sites across the borough, both scheduled (i.e. Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive works. You will maintain communications via telephone and other mobile devices.
  • You will be required, due to the nature of your work, to complete works inside and outside, you will be exposed to all weather conditions and may at times be exposed to considerable noise and unpleasant working conditions.
  • You will be required, due to the nature of your work, to undertake works that are at times physically demanding requiring awkward postures.
  • You will be required to complete and record accurate details of the work you have undertaken on handheld devices and in hard copy run sheets.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of working in a Building Maintenance environment, both in a mechanical and electrical capacity.
  • Appropriately qualified in a relevant trade.

  • This role requires an enhanced DBS
