- Develop and implement strategic sales plans, technical training and programs and forecasts to achieve objectives for products and services; responsible for the sales operating budgets including volume and margin. Develops account plans for customers to deliver annual volume and margin targets, and strategic initiatives to drive the highest possible wallet share and create a “sticky” supply relationship; develop new business opportunities including strategic volumes and close deals.
- Inspire End users with its own chocolate creations and recipes.
- Prepare and manage scorecards, building blocks and business plans for assigned clients.
- Internal negotiation with marketing to build a promotional calendar and activities for distributors.
- Collaboration with the finance area for collection activities.
- Participate in the forecasting process to improve accuracy.
- Drives the new business activities for volume and margin growth through product development by developing relationships with customer R&D stakeholders; manages the project management activities for key projects and steers internal R&D efforts.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with customer stakeholders including procurement, R&D, QA, Supply Chain, Marketing, etc.; pursues higher-level relationships within the account.
- Direct sales forecasting activities to ensure forecast KPI adherence; support the supply chain and planning activities in support of customer volumes and projects, and enable footprint initiatives. Represents the company at trade events to promote the company when needed and relevant with the account.
- Support account managers with account management and business development and opportunity identification; participate in global or regional strategic account governance, and negotiating agreements, where needed.
- Specific diploma in Confectionery and Pastry, and/or 3-5 years of experience within the chocolate and pastry industry.
- 2-3 years of direct sales/commercial experience in the food industry for bakery, pastry, chocolate, dairy, confectionary. It´s important to know the Food Service industry in the different segments: HORECA, Confectionary and BAPA.
- Travel is expected and required to meet the essential job function.
- Conversational English
- Knowledge about Food Service/market segmentation/ distribution channels/ B to B & B to C / Increase customer portfolio/ knowledge of the competition/ Negotiation.
- Experience working with SAP / Office /Sales Force - desirable
- Public speaking + camera skills/ Teaching ability & passion / Passionate & entrepreneurial.
