- Integrate strains biodiversity, fermentation processes and emerging technological, molecular, digital approaches in collaboration with suppliers and external partners.
- Provide support and advices for the implementation of the ferment and fermentation solutions to the R&I product development teams.
- Contribute with the other experts in the field, to nurture ferment R&I strategy.
- Handle synergies with other R&I functions, UX, engineering, quality, operations and procurement.
- Education: PhD in Microbiology or applied fermentation.
- Experience: 10 years of experience in the field of microbiology, culture, fermentation.
- Languages: Good level of English and Spanish.
- Skills: Leadership, pragmatic, innovative, curious, pedagogic, project management.
- Stakeholders: Large interaction with culture suppliers and partners (public, private), with R&I cross categories, C&P, R&I, UX, Quality internal functions.
- Availability to travel about 30% of time to visit suppliers, partners and EU teams.
