- Spearhead sales enablement initiatives for CARTOs sales team and our partner sales teams, serving as the primary liaison to communicate our partner and customer facing roadmap, positioning, and key messages.
- Lead product launches and go-to-market campaigns - developing the strategy, measurement, and execution - working x-functionally with product, sales, and marketing partners.
- Develop compelling tools for across our customer journey - presentations, case studies, whitepapers, demos, and battlecards - that change how global enterprise customers understand CARTO and our products.
- Contribute critical market, competitor, and customer research and insights to drive prioritization for the work of your team, and the organization
- Own analysis to improve how CARTO improves what customers think, feel, and do at each stage in their journey.
- Define and deliver core technical solution benefits and positioning, that are consistent and compelling, to commercial teams, internally, and for our partner network.
- Take center stage in positioning CARTO as the go-to spatial solution for executives, data scientists, and developers at the world's leading companies. Through events, webinars, and other external channels, you'll be excited to be an ambassador.
- Strategic Thinker: ability to translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans.
- Passionate about technology: You are building a deep understanding of enterprise software environments, especially Cloud/SaaS analytics/Data warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions, applications & technologies.
- Commercial acumen: you are deeply data-driven and care about what moves the needle for pipeline creation, rather than focusing on vanity metrics.
- An exceptional communicator: internally between departments and externally with clients and partners. You make the effort to spend a significant amount of time with sales, pre-sales, customer success, and product teams to gain relevant insights.
- A gifted copywriter and storyteller: you can translate highly complex technology concepts into compelling stories that our partners, customers, and prospects care about.
- Customer-centric: obsessed with the needs of our clients, prospects, and partners, constantly learning about how their challenges are evolving.
- Thirsty to learn about the Location Intelligence and Data Analytics space: you, are eager to consume podcasts and webinars, or read relevant reports to keep your finger on the pulse of our industry and the enterprises we sell to. When you don't know how to do something, you just find a way to learn about it.
- You have a bias for action: you get a buzz out of crossing things off your to-do list, and you have the “get it done” attitude. You can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience - across marketing, product management, consulting, or strategy roles, with 2 or more years in product marketing.
- Proven track record in B2B SaaS product marketing, ideally within the data analytics or cloud technology space.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with technical stakeholders at a SaaS company.
- Experience working with teams in multiple locations and cultures.
- An eye for design and brand guardianship.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
