- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the fine dining restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and table assignments.
- Ensure seamless coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house teams to deliver exceptional service and dining experiences.
- Monitor and maintain restaurant cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Guest Experience:
- Ensure a warm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere for guests, providing personalized service and attention to detail.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and effectively, striving to exceed guest expectations.
- Monitor guest satisfaction levels and implement strategies to enhance the dining experience and drive repeat business.
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of service and professionalism.
- Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork and collaboration, and address any staff issues or conflicts in a timely manner.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize restaurant revenue, optimize seating capacity, and control costs.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies and ingredients, and manage food and beverage costs to achieve budgetary targets.
- Analyze financial reports, sales data, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive profitability.
- Menu Development and Quality Control:
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine the fine dining menu, ensuring high-quality, innovative dishes that align with guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Conduct regular menu tastings and evaluations to maintain consistency, quality, and presentation standards.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, portion sizes, and presentation to uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence.
- Manage restaurant reservations, seating arrangements, and guest preferences using reservation management systems.
- Coordinate private dining events, special occasions, and corporate functions, ensuring smooth execution and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to promote the restaurant, attract new guests, and drive revenue through special promotions and events.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a fine dining establishment.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations, food and beverage service, and industry trends.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and reservation systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
