Graduate learning support assistantLocation: Newcastle upon TyneFull-time (Mon-Fri, 8:30-3:30)£83-95 per dayAbout the role:Protocol Education is recruiting graduates to take on the role of learning support assistant to be located within the Newcastle area.Graduate with a good knowledge and understand of children’s special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) would be a great fit for this role.A learning support assistant can be based within the classroom or be working with children on a one-to-one or small group bases. You would be expected to follow the curriculum provided and help the children engage with their work. You will need to be able to adapt well in new environment and have good problem-solving skills. Candidates will also need to be prepared to support children through their learning and deliver lesson activities.Desirable:
  • Personal or professional experience working with SEND children.
  • Personal or professional experience support children with their educational and personal needs
Requirements:
  • University graduate
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Has or willingness to gain an enhanced DBS.
