- Full ownership of store profit and loss performance
- Drive culture of small business ownership with Store Managers, balancing fiscal responsibility with talent development, consumer engagement and experience, and empowering leadership
- Deliver exceptional consumer experience by providing outstanding execution of global brand and retail operational standards
- Work with store team to balance the strategic priorities with locally nuanced tactical needs to drive impact on the consumer and surrounding community
- Drive performance culture of the 4 Ps: people, process, presentation and premises
- Deliver a relentless focus on service excellence through Connect, Engage, Inspire leadership with frequent presence on the sales floor and back-of-house stock room
- Direct full adoption of processes and tools to drive performance while seeking insights for continuous improvement
- Guide the delivery of key brand and commercial moments in store through flawless execution and service excellence
- Foster a collaborative environment by building a continuous feedback cycle with retail support teams on product and operational needs, and opportunities
- Provide consistent coaching, training, and mentoring of store team members
- Employ store performance metrics to maximize teams individual and collective development
- Enable and support a best-in-class environment within retail fleet which provides acceptance, education and awareness on all topics related to diversity, equity and inclusion
- Partner with Store Management Teams to hire, develop and build a high performing team
- Provide constructive feedback on success and feasibility of current and new programs, other initiatives, and specific store needs while making recommendations that may be experimental by nature.
- Act as Brand ambassador and partner within local community to promote brand and store awareness
- Leverage global and local tools to lead the performance management, succession, recruiting, hiring and development activities, resulting in high employee engagement
- Take clear accountability for training and execution in store in all areas, including business, operations, sales/customer service, and visual merchandising, while also coordinating with Regional Trainer to ensure all employees are trained in Retail Standards
- Develop and maintain wage costs and overall expense control within assigned guidelines and communicate these goals and review results with retail management team.
- Produce results under a variety of situations/market conditions and overcomes barrier to the company’s success in compliance with corporate guidelines.
- Assure timely completion of all recordkeeping associated with applicants, new hires, payroll, performance appraisals, salary reviews, counselling, disciplinary actions, and terminations
- Assure compliance with legal, loss prevention and safety guidelines in overall management of store and associates.
- Shop competition on a regular basis to ensure competitiveness in the marketplace
- Strong ability to understand and use financial data to make decisions and influence outcomes
- Proficient retail knowledge – operational and selling skills.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills Ability to use critical thinking and creative ways to solve problems
- Excellent verbal presentation and written communication skills with strong command of English language
- Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints
- Ability to make recommendations that effectively resolve problems by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, and procedures

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 12 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 34 kg.
- Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends, evenings and statutory holidays. Also able to work extra hours during peak sales periods which include, but are not limited to, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and Back-to-School.
