Salary: £50,048 – £56,337Are you a passionate Computing Lecturer Or industry professional looking to teach in an FE environment, while working within brand-new industry-leading facilities? With a specialism in programming!They are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Lecturer to join their innovative Computing and Technology department which currently offers A-Levels, T-Levels, B-tec, different apprenticeships (L3 – L4), and foundation degree Qualifications. Level 1-6 qualifications across all disciplines. These courses are all successful and popular, with many learners going on to pursue Higher Education and professional careers within the Technology and computing industries. The department is well-resourced with the latest technological equipment.Salary & Benefits
  • Salary: £30,000 – £45,000, depending on qualifications & experience
  • Working hours: 37.5 hours per week
To be considered, suitable candidates will ideally following criteria:
  • A Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g DET, PGCE, Cert. Ed) or willingness to work towards one
  • A degree in Computing, or a relevant subject area
  • Vocational experience
  • Experience in teaching Computing within FE or willingness to learn
  • Up-to-date knowledge of multiple Computing disciplines
  • Knowledge of apprenticeships (desirable)
