Job Description :Responsible to: Associate Structural EngineerRole Purpose:To work effectively as a Senior Structural Engineer, you must establish yourself as a key leader in the team, fully using your leadership and mentoring skills to develop and guide junior engineers and maintain excellent customer relationships. Additionally, you must lead projects to ensure resources are allocated effectively and projects are delivered successfully and on time.RequirementsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:· Manage your pool of resources effectively and efficiently to ensure successful outcomes for all projects under your remit.using engineering materials including concrete, steel, masonry, timber, etc., together with soils, foundations and drainage, and in a form that can readily be checked by another member of staff.· Undertake thorough site investigations, complete inspections, and identify and resolve any issues as appropriate.· Undertake project design from commencement to completion.· Represent the company at design team meetings.· Manage, encourage, support and motivate junior Engineers and Technicians in the process of project design.the Institution of Structural Engineers and/or the Institution of Civil Engineers.· Recognise the importance of clear communication with all members of the design and/or construction team regarding matters of structural safety, and keep up-to-date with information provided by CROSS (Collaborative Reporting for Safer Structures (see ).· Undertake Business Development for the benefit of CCL.BenefitsSoftware Capabilities:· AutoCAD, Tekla, and REVIT.Education Requirements:· Ideally Chartered Membership of the Institution of Structural Engineers and/or the Institution of Civil Engineering.
