EYFS level 2 Teaching Assistant/ UnqualifiedLocation: Broughton (Buckinghamshire)Contract: Full timeStart: Easter 2024Supply Desk is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2/unqualified Teaching Assistant to join a “Good” school in the Broughton area. As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our young children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.   • Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that align with our educational philosophy.
  • Provide individual support to children aged 2-5 years, tailoring activities to meet their unique needs and interests.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the children during classroom activities and outdoor exploration.
  • Assist in the creation and organization of stimulating learning environments, incorporating natural elements.
  • Observe and assess children’s progress and development, maintaining accurate records and communicating with the teaching team.
  • Foster positive behaviour and social skills, encouraging a sense of belonging and cooperation.
The ideal candidate:
  • Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (e.g., CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools).
  • However, unqualified Teaching Assistant welcome to apply.
  • Previous experience working as a teaching assistant in an early years setting is desirable.
  • Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and a strong team player.
