- An aircraft mechanic maintains the engines of aircrafts to meet FAA standards. This job involves tasks such as performing routine checks and repairs, keeping records of inventory, and identifying faults with components of the plane.
- This is a Fri - Sun shift (work 36 get paid for 40) 6:30a-7p
- Engine disassembly/assembly - Perform mechanic duties to disassemble and assemble engines, engine modules and accessories.
- Clean - Perform cleaning of engine parts and components.
- Perform visual checks to assess minimal part condition for continued use where applicable. Understand the basic inspection techniques as a part of a career development path.
- Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S and continuous improvement programs by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training, and supporting all applicable committee activities.
- Ability to manage tools and tooling to ensure serviceability before and after use and process appropriately when issues arise.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- A&P License or two years aviation, aerospace and/or previous mechanical experience.
- Turbine engine overhaul, and repair experience preferred in one or more of the following disciplines: Disassembly, Assembly.
- Ability to identify and resolve configuration and compatibility issues.
- Must have completed ACE Basics and have created an ACE profile (internal candidates).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- FAA Safety Sensitive Position
- SAP familiarity (Preferred)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
