Offer DescriptionSeveral growth hormone secretagogues (GHS) with an excellent safety profile have been studied for their endocrine and extra-endocrine effects. Studies demonstrated the GSH beneficial effects in promoting neuroprotection and counteracting inflammation, demyelination and skeletal muscle dysfunction. The project aims at evaluating the effects of the GHS JMV2894 in mouse suffering from experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE), an animal model of multiple sclerosis. In particular, the project is focused on the study of its effects on clinical symptoms and the central hallmarks of the disease, such as neuroinflammation and synaptopathy.RequirementsAdditional InformationEligibility criteriaThe qualification to apply every selection is specified in the notice for each research program.
