- Being responsible of continuous tracking of any of critical technical issues relevant to the Customer installed fleet. Providing support to Baker Hughes Technical Experts in issues resolution through interaction with Specific Customer, data collection, and relevant information gathering.
- Leading the technical communication for Root Cause Analysis (RCA)/Investigation with customer/. Collaborate with Global Product Service Experts and contribute to development of technical investigation
- Coordinating multidisciplinary Engineering Teams (regional technical support, HQ technical support, Product Engineering etc.) to expedite issues resolution and investigation completion, assuring a proactive approach in line with the Customer's expectations
- Establishing an operating rhythm with Customer to discuss technical issues and tasks, to understand the Customer needs, share progress, agree to dispositions and the path forward.
- Supporting other functions Product Management, Commercial team, Field Service Engineering) during the implementation phase of corrective actions (procurement, installation, and test) assuring that final tested solution meets original requirements.
- Initiating and promote lessons learned introduction to proactively improve fleet operations and to feed product improvements into new designs
- Leading Remote Monitoring & Diagnostic based programs by coordinating the relevant Engineering Functions to improve fleet reliability, availability and performance.
- Providing technical support in outages upfront planning and during execution.
- Leading special tasks and initiatives for Specific Customer’s fleet
- Being available to work into customer office (some Brazil’s cities) at least 3 days of the week.
- Have bachelor’s Degree in Controls Engineering (solid experience with GE MKVI/MKVIe and/or Woodward controls system)
- Demonstrate deeply experience on main turbomachinery technical disciplines, both for flange to flange and auxiliaries.
- Be able to speak English and Portuguese fluently.
- Have deep knowledge of Baker Hughes Turbomachinery & Process Solution products and applications
- Have willingness and ability to travel 20% of the time.
- Be familiar with failure analysis steps and RCA process
- Have ability to lead a Team and work as part of larger Team.
- Have ability to work with and effectively coordinate a multicultural team.
- Deep knowledge of BakerHughes Turbomachinery & Process Solution equipment operability
- Experience with GE MKVI/MKVIe and woodward Corntrols systems start up and troubleshooting procedures.
- Knowledge of international standards for the GE Oil & Gas Business
- Experience in Aeroderivative Gas Turbines
- CE (Conformité Européene- European Confirmity) Mark knowledge.
- Experience in leading Dynamic simulation study
- NDT knowledge
- Vibration analysis knowledge
- Experience in leading design review and Hazop or Ergonomic & EHS study meetings
- Experience as a resident engineer or a site engineer
