- Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week over 4 days
- Weekends: 1 in 4 Saturdays

- Consultations: 15 minutes
- Team: Large veterinary team
- The role will involve a varied caseload including orthopaedics, soft tissue, dentals, endoscopys, laparoscopic, radiology and routine surgeries.
- The role is a mixture of surgeries and consultations and the opportunity to work up own cases.
- Flexible working and rota patterns available to accommodate a good work / life balance. EG Rota to work around the school run / holidays /lifestyle.
- The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
- The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.
- Small Animal first opinion practice with three sites
- They are a training practice and part of the practice standards scheme.
- They are fully equipped with facilities including dental x-ray, theatre, Ultrasound, in house laboratory, digital x-ray and endoscopy.
- They have a large veterinary team with various special interests and certificates.
- They have a supportive nursing team who hold certificates in ECC, advanced Feline Nursing, Dentals and Exotics.
- The role offers a learning environment with plenty of support available for growth and development.
- They support personal development with a generous CPD allowance and encourage and support certificates and additional training.
- The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.
- The team regularly enjoy social outings together.
- The team work together to support one another and enable each other to achieve goals and continue to develop their clinical skills and knowledge.
- They understand the difficulties that the vet industry can face, and they ensure that each member of staff support each other and strive each day to provide a positive and encouraging work environment.
- The Vet will be looking for a role where they can continue to develop their skills and progress to studying certificates.
- The Vet will be a team player.

- The Vet will be able to organise their own time well and remain calm under pressure.
- Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
- Holidays: 7.6 weeks annual leave plus birthday off
- CPD: Generous allowance of £1,250 with 5 days to attend
- Memberships: RCVS, VDS and BVA fees paid
