Responsibilities:
  • Handling cash transactions and payments for trust accounts for a personal care home.
  • Providing excellent customer service to tenants and family members.
  • Following up on overdue balances.
  • Processing trust accounts and balancing cash daily.
  • Provide information about payables and payments for reporting purposes.
  • Process cash receipts, and daily cash deposits, maintain the petty cash fund and cash float.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 plus years of Accounts Receivable experience ideally from a personal care home setting or other health care environment would be considered an asset.
  • Completion of post-secondary Accounting course.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with residents and family members.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle a heavy workload.
  • A criminal record check is required.
