About The RoleWe are recruiting for a Manufacturing Project Engineer to join our expanding team based in our Manufacturing sites around Lincolnshire and Yorkshire. The candidate will work 5 days a week from Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:30.Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned projects.
  • Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
  • Interact daily with on-site personnel from production and Health and Safety to interpret their needs and requirements, and devise solutions.
  • Source, raise orders, and liaise with contractors to ensure successful project completion.
  • Organize the unloading, positioning, and service connection of multi-million pound/dollar machinery.
  • Ensure the successful installation of machinery.
  • Create documents for machinery trials by understanding product and machine needs.
  • Walk the site to ensure contractor adherence to on-site rules and obtain updates on work progress.

  • Proven work experience as a project engineer.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional decision-making ability and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding time management and organization skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Proficiency in chairing on-site meetings for updates and feedback.
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Previous experience installing and signing off on manufacturing machinery.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in ensuring timely project delivery.
  • Capacity to find solutions independently when necessary.
Team Organisation:
  • The candidate work along-side 3 other Project Engineers responsible for all project-related tasks.
  • Responsibilities include managing power supplies, air supplies, wood dust extraction, machinery unloading, installation, trials, and sign-off, as well as chairing meetings and meeting on-site project requirements.
  • The team will be overseen by the UK project lead, who will organise and prioritise workloads and demands.
Location:
  • This role will span across the 5 UK manufacturing sites.
  • The candidate will travel between sites as needed to manage multiple projects.
