Shop Assistant - Western ApproachFull-Time Vacancy of 37.5 Hours, Part-Time Hours ConsideredAre you passionate about making a real difference? Are you experienced in providing excellent customer service?Then this may be the role for you!We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our team at our Western Approach Shop in Plymouth.This is a very large, fast-paced store situated in the former Toys'R'Us premises in Plymouth. The shop sells a wide variety of donated items with an emphasis on furniture and homeware.As a Shop Assistant, you will play an essential role in helping raise vital funds to support the hospice's care for patients and their families.Key Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Providing excellent customer service through representing St Luke's Values and promoting the essential work the charity provides
  • Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with both customers and donors
  • Assisting with the daily running of the shop through ensuring administration and banking, recruitment and management of volunteer staff and all health and safety requirements are adhered to
  • Processing sales transactions and stock accurately
  • Working enthusiastically and collaboratively with the Shop Volunteers, Assistants, and Shop Manager
