- Collaborating with integrated teams to deliver solutions in support of key product initiatives by working closely with product managers, scrum masters, architects, developers, and QA teams.
- Creates an environment of continuous improvement through honest communication and regular retrospectives with the goal to surface issues/concerns and to identify clear action steps
- Planning and executing of the Technology development schedule for major product releases
- Tracking status, progress and other critical metrics in relation to the plan and publishing progress reports to senior partners
- Maintaining release and dependency plans across American Express development teams, external partners and third parties
- Identifying and raising risks, issues, and changes tied to the product development initiatives
- Resolving impediments precluding teams from making progress against plans
- Ensuring deliverables across Technology teams are high-quality and clearly documented
- Organizing and executing Pre and Post PI Planning sessions, daily stand-ups, scrum of scrums and retrospectives at the end of each planned unit of work, with a focus on continuously learning from the past
- Finding opportunities to embrace innovative technologies and processes
- University Degree or equivalent experience in related field and/or prior relevant Technology or business experience
- Previous Project or Product Management experience, ideally in an Agile environment
- Proven technical experience in software engineering, infrastructure, operations or product delivery & system integration is preferred
- Organizational skills and self-motivation
- Knowledge of internal delivery tools & a desire to deepen understanding
