We, Ian Williams Ltd, continue to grow within the South East, are have the opportunity for an additional Quantity Surveyor to join our fabulous painting and decorating team in South London, Maidstone. Within painting and decorating, we offer the full 360 Quantity Surveying experience, enabling you ownership for tendering, measuring, estimating, cost management, and client relations, all with the passion of wanting to secure new/ further business.To do that, our Maidstone branch can offer a variety of works including frameworks and projects for prestigious clients within the public, retirement living, commercial and education sector. They deliver internal, external and cyclical painting and associated repairs/refurbishment works to these clients.You’ll be pivotal to the success of your contracts, taking ownership and accountability over the financial, cost control, technical and relationship aspects to actively ensure profitability is met.An excellent benefits package;

What will you bring as Quantity Surveyor?
  • Proven experience in a similar estimating and surveying role with the ability to commercially take responsibility for a contract/project throughout its lifecycle, from inception to completion.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with key eye for identifying commercial opportunities and developing key existing relationships.
  • You will be analytical, organised and honest as well as being a genuine ‘people person’ who relishes in communicating effectively with their clients, trade teams and immediate colleagues fostering a real ‘working together’ environment.
