- Collaborating with the AXA Group Head of Public Affairs and the broader team to craft an annual strategy that effectively represents AXA's objectives and values.
- Championing AXA's perspective in EU policy dialogues by proactively engaging with key stakeholders, influencing discussions, and contributing to the formulation of impactful policies.
- Representing AXA at selected official meetings and events in Brussels, serving as a credible and influential ambassador for the organization.
- Vigilantly monitoring and analyzing European policy and political developments to identify emerging issues and topics that could impact AXA and providing timely insights to guide strategic decision-making.
- Working closely with the AXA Public Affairs team in Paris to ensure seamless information-sharing with senior management and business units.
- Playing a key role in organizing internal and external events related to public affairs, thereby bolstering the team's cohesion and bolstering AXA's visibility in Brussels.
- Nurturing and expanding a robust network of contacts within EU institutions, private sector associations, think tanks, and the financial services arena to effectively represent AXA's interests and stay abreast of relevant developments.
- A demonstrated ability to cultivate and nurture productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, supported by a robust network of connections in the EU capital.
- A proven track record of effectively influencing policy debates and contributing to the policy-making process.
- At least 10 years of professional experience, with comprehensive knowledge of the functioning of EU institutions and their institutional framework, ideally acquired through hands-on experience.
- Professional experience in the Financial Services sector, with a focus on Insurance, banks, and Asset Management.
- University-level education, preferably holding a master's degree in economics, business administration, political science, or law, with a solid grasp of economic principles being a significant asset.
- Proficiency in gathering, structuring, and presenting politically relevant intelligence pertaining to AXA, obtained through diverse formal and informal channels.
- Proven capacity to multitask, solve problems, make decisions, take initiative, and work autonomously while also thriving as a collaborative team player.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, coupled with cultural sensitivity and confidence in engaging in international settings.
- Excellent communication skills and experience in contributing to policy debates and discussions.
- Exceptional proficiency in both written and spoken English and French; a working knowledge of German is advantageous.
