This is a full-time position with the potential for a longer-term/permanent commitment. If you are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with Autism and have experience or a strong interest in special education, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities: * Provide one-on-one support and assistance to a student with Autism, helping them engage with their learning activities.
  • Implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) and tailored strategies to support the student's educational and behavioural needs.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment to encourage the student's development.
  • Collaborate with teachers and specialists to adapt curriculum materials and ensure the student's academic progress.
  • Offer emotional and social support to help the student build self-confidence and interpersonal skills.
  • Document and communicate the student's progress and challenges to the educational team and parents/guardians.
  • Assist in managing any behavioural or sensory challenges effectively and safely.
Qualifications and Skills: * Previous experience working with children or individuals with Autism is preferred, but not essential.
  • A passion for working in the field of special education and a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of children.
  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to adapt and think creatively to support the individual needs of the student.
  • A proactive, positive, and collaborative attitude.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field are a plus, but not mandatory.
