Performance Marketing & Digital Media (70%)
- Lead performance marketing strategy for clients, and become their trusted advisor on performance media
- Oversee delivery of performance marketing planning, buying, management & optimisation, ensuring that whiteGREY is hitting the agreed targets for our clients
- Working with the broader whiteGREY/TeamRed digital media team to deliver consolidated digital media strategies and campaigns
- Deliver all client requirements profitably and to the targeted profitability level
- Forecast digital media campaign results (traffic, sales, etc.) and highlight the levers that can be altered to improve results
- Plan digital media campaigns and recommend the best way to split media spend across paid search, paid social, online display/pre-rolls (including remarketing, sequential messaging, etc.)
- Work with the creative team to improve creative/messaging based on what is working/has worked recently
- Lead digital media reporting & tracking, including setting up tracking and attribution spreadsheets
- Own the delivery of insights and recommendations in monthly and quarterly reports
- Set up measurement plans and implement tagging (both media tags and Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics tags using DTM/GTM)
- Set up automated reporting dashboards for all clients (& projects where required)
- Lead new business pitches for Performance Marketing/Digital Media, owning the technical response, and working with the Account Service team on the overall response
- Deliver a yearly increase in performance media billings and agency fees
- Managing the Performance Marketing team
- Managing the ongoing training and development of yourself and your team
- Keep up with industry trends to promote innovative and creative solutions
- Bringing knowledge of digital media to the agency - you will be the in-house specialist and will be expected to help others and contribute to new business/business development opportunities
- Should have the majority of:
o Advanced skills in Google AdWords (including Display Advertising and Remarketing), and managing social campaigns using Facebook Business Manager
o Google Certified
o Experience reporting on campaign successes and be able to demonstrate how he/she optimises campaigns
o Ability to analyse reporting data to identify areas of opportunity and utilise conversion rate optimisation tactics (i.e. A/B, split-testing etc) to squeeze as much ROI as out of each dollar spent
o Data analytics and reporting experience and understanding in platforms including Google Analytics & Adobe/Omniture
o Ability to maximise account automation and scale CPA performance
o Ability to forecast likely traffic and sales based on planning a digital media campaign
o Strong hands-on technical capability for digital media campaign implementation and management, including:
o XML feed implementation and management for Google Shopping Feed and Facebook Dynamic Ads
o AdWords automation and alert script implementation (Working knowledge of Javascript)
o CRM integration (Customer Match, Facebook Lead Ads)
o Advanced tracking and attribution and spreadsheet skills
o Strategise and execute SEM campaigns to maximise conversions.
- Team management experience
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience
- 4+ years professional experience in agency/in-house environment
- Strong time management skills with a proven ability to focus on priorities, solve problems, juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
