About this position:We are looking for a talented Intermediate iOS Developer to join our Engineering team and help implement new product features and prototype experiments. Please note that this will be a 6-month contract position.What you'll be doing:
  • Develop and maintain features for our iOS app
  • Design and develop well-structured, testable and well-documented code with UIKit or SwiftUI, while refactoring some legacy components in UIKit
  • Work alongside other members of the iOS team; reviewing code, discussing approaches to new challenges, and sharing best practices, tools and techniques.
  • Constantly learn and stay up-to-date through use of dedicated unstructured dev time for you to: stay up to date with industry trends and self-education on relevant topics.
  • Collaborate with our mobile UI/UX team to implement an app that feels distinctly iOS, whilst maintaining the Later look & feel.

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information technology, software engineering or related.
  • 3+ years of professional iOS development experience.
  • Knowledge of building apps with SwiftUI and Swift actors for concurrency
  • Knowledge of TCA and/or reactive mobile architectures
  • Have published at least 1 professional iOS app on the App store (Include links to the past apps you're most proud of!)
  • Experience building new features that interact with existing codebases, as well as developing new features from scratch.

Our approach to compensation:We take a market-based & data-driven approach to compensation. We leverage data from trusted third-party compensation sources to help us understand the market value of a role based on function, level, geographic location, and scope. We evaluate compensation bi-annually, including performance and market-related factors.Our salaries are benchmarked against market Total Cash Compensation for the geographic location of our job posting. Compensation for some roles is structured as On Target Earnings (OTE = base + commission/variable) while for others it is structured as Salary only.To comply with local legislation and ensure transparency, we share salary ranges on all job postings. Skills, experience and other factors help determine the final salary we offer which may vary from the original range posted.Additionally, all permanent team members are granted stock options and are eligible to participate in various benefits plans as part of their overall compensation package.Salary Range:$115,000 - 129,500 CAD
