- Your team will be accountable to deliver promises made by the purchasing team with regards to budget, lead time and quality
- Reporting to the Procurement Programmes Manager (PPM) the Procurement Programmes Controller /Analyst shall be responsible for managing and coordinating data to enable the Procurement Programme Specialist (PPS) to launch and overall deliver the scope of work allocated to Procurement (P&SC) function within the budget agreed and released to P&SC for the allocated customer programme. Main responsibilities to include:
- Manage the creation and/or update of the Procurement level 3 plan in Excel using data from a variety of sources.
- Work collaboratively with P&SC Bid Team to feedback changes in configuration, dramatic differences in PO values versus bid as well as keeping the PPS /PPM completely informed of these changes as well as impact to schedule.
- Work cross–functionally as required to verify information and understand any required action to feed to the PPS.
- Work with the PPS to identify items at risk which could be on a cost basis, or schedule, including obsolescence.
- Support the PPS creating any charts or reports from the level 3 plan.
- Ensure the Level 3 supports the Customer programme IPT level 1& 2 plans and work closely with Programmes Management Officers to ensure alignment.
- Someone who is confident, able to get the information required and able to challenge where appropriate, whilst maintaining good relations working within the business – in other words, good interpersonal skills
- Someone who can cope independently, with some guidance, with a high workload in a pressured environment and be able to prioritise effectively.
- Someone who is keen and able, with support, to embrace new challenges and to learn new skills.
- Someone who is an experienced user of MS Office applications.
- Someone who is an effective and experienced user of MS Excel, who can use Pivots, VLookups and has some understanding of formulas is a ‘must have’ and has the ability to confidently manipulate/analyse large data sets to create reports.
- Ideally but not essential some experience of SAP or similar MRP system.
