- Research and identify potential leads through various channels, including online research, social media, and email marketing campaigns.
- Predominantly contact and generate leads through face-to face cold calling, with the addition of phone calls, emails, and other communication methods.
- Develop and maintain a database of leads and prospects for future reference.
- Collaborate with the operations teams to develop effective lead generation strategies.
- Analyze and report on lead generation feedback to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide exceptional customer service to prospective customers.
- Work with the operations team to ensure smooth lead handovers and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Effectively communicate product offerings to potential customers in recycling feedstock, general haulage, and pallet networks.
- Researching geographical areas for optimum business lead generation.
- Following up on requests for information from customers and the operations team.
- Respond to enquiries that come in via email, phone, and other lead generated sources.
- Regular contact with existing customers to grow business and keep the company’s name at the forefront of customer minds.
- Engage in market research to identify new business opportunities and understand the latest trends in the UK logistics/haulage sector.
- On occasion attend industry events and trade shows to represent the company and build our brand presence.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative to meet or exceed targets.
- Strong customer focus.
- Ability to plan with strong organizational and time management skills.
- IT literate, with a good standard of computing functions, word, excel etc.
- Ability to communicate prospective customer needs in a professional and influential manner
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to empathise and influence.
- Be a proactive and results orientated individual.
- Ability and confidence in cold calling and showing creativity in selling the services of the business.
- Able to think strategically and assist with planning and implementing continuous improvements.
- Have skills and a willingness to embrace information gathering, questioning techniques and opportunity spotting.
- Possess a strong belief in own ability to accomplish tasks.
- Willingness to put forth and communicate ideas in a confident, concise manner.
- Salary upto 33k plus yearly bonus
