About this roleWe have an opportunity for a Radiographer on a Fixed Term Contract in our Sunraysia region at our clinics in Mildura. As the area's main provider of radiology services at both Mildura Base Hospital and our Healthscope court clinic rooms, you will be exposed to a multitude of unique and interesting cases.Location – Have a change of scene without the commitment!Bring back a work-life balance, within this relaxed, rural setting.Mildura is a vibrant regional city full of contrast, from the Murray River to the outback. About the roleThe opportunity to gain new experiences whilst exploring the country and the delivery of excellence in medical imaging services to patients, referrers, and the community.The role is for a shift roster Grade 1 or 2 position, working between 7:00am-7:00pm on weekdays (late shifts to 23:00pm on roster), and 7:00am- 3:30pm weekends (late shifts to 12am on roster).Reporting to the Chief Technologist, in this role you will be responsible for driving high quality and efficient imaging services across a range of modalities.This opportunity is perfect for new graduates and experiences Radiographers.Working for I-MED offers you:

Key responsibilities:

Managing patients and operating specialised medical imaging equipment such as General X-Ray and CT
Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service
Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers
Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards

Key selection criteria:

Current relevant Radiography Radiation licence and professional registration
Appropriate qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Medical Radiography
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
