- Organizes and conducts negotiations with product group specific suppliers;
- Manages and executes the S2C process incl. administration and monitoring of contracts (e.g. quality assurance agreements, non-disclosure agreements, work contracts, framework agreements etc.);
- Establishes comparability between incoming offers and makes the award on this basis;
- Ensures the coordination and harmonization of global/regional procurement activities for the product groups;
- Ensures and reviews the implementation of optimization measures in the respective product group strategy;
- Identifies bundling potential and other cost reduction levers globally/regionally;
- Coordinates the procurement roadmap with cross-divisional commodity management, if necessary;
- Observes and analyzes the national and international procurement market;
- Searches for new suppliers;
- Evaluates incoming supplier applications;
- Defines optimal supplier panels globally/regionally and aligns global/regional supplier (risk) management;
- Implements, monitors and manages strategic goals and tasks for the commodity groups / suppliers;
- Ensures and reviews the implementation of optimization measures in the respective product group strategy.
- German: C1
- English: C1
- Good knowledge of contract law;
- Very good knowledge of MS-Office;
- SAP knowledge: an advantage;
- Successfully completed technical or business studies or comparable training;
- Negotiating skills and convincing communication skills;
- Independent and reliable way of working as well as a sound understanding of numbers;
- Strong communication and conflict management skills, assertiveness and the ability to work in a team;
- Willingness to travel internationally to qualify suppliers;
- Cross-process, entrepreneurial understanding, thinking and acting.
- Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing in mechanical engineering (desirable);
- Well versed in procurement and supplier management and the associated processes.
