The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.Job SummaryWe are seeking a Project Finance Lead Financial Analyst/Consultant to join the Capital Markets & Financing Department (CM&FD). CM&FD is a part of the Finance Business Line in This Company with an objective of providing expert financial advice to organizations developing new businesses or joint ventures; coordinating the Finance Organization's overall involvement in such development activities and; obtaining Debt and equity capital for such new business ventures when appropriate. Successful candidates will be responsible for providing expert analysis on the project financing and/or structured financing of potential joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions in the energy, chemicals, power and infrastructure business sectors. This position handles large and complex, non-routine financial or banking projects which have little precedent; develops and interprets data used in highly technical and confidential analysis; assists in solving complicated business problems and the development of alternatives or options to mitigate risk and improve performance; and develops polices, programs and procedures.Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer guidance on the bankability of project agreements and strategies to minimize financing risks.
  • Develop business plans, financial forecasts, funding strategies, and execution plans to facilitate investment decisions and optimize project financing.
  • Coordinate with investment banks, project advisors, lenders, and other consultants to arrange project financing.
  • Provide professional and technical expertise for analyzing and resolving complex problems in Treasury project finance.
  • Participate in or lead multidisciplinary project evaluation and development teams to enhance operations, profitability, and support the Company's development strategies.
  • Provide direction and support to junior analysts, mentoring and fostering talent within the organization.
  • Stay updated on international, regional, and local economic and banking data, analyzing trends that could impact the Company, advising management on potential opportunities, and identifying and alerting management to potential risks.
Requirements:
  • Willingness to relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting. An MBA is preferred.
  • Possess a minimum of seven years' experience in the oil & gas industry or leading a debt capital market structuring/syndication team.
  • Possess a financial certification such as CPA, CMA, CTP, or CFA.
  • Have extensive experience in securing a corporate credit rating or a relevant understanding of rating agencies.
  • Capable of interfacing with senior management in an advisory capacity.
