- Conduct monthly commercial evaluations of projects based on IFRS15, collaborating closely with Technical Leads and Project Managers.
- Report and advise on project financial performance, including revenue recognition, cost performance, schedule performance, productivity, leakage, and contract risk.
- Provide Finance Business Partnering to support Project Management, overseeing project performance, updating forecasts, and assessing schedule impacts on profitability.
- Generate and manage monthly financial forecasts and work-in-progress reports.
- Provide financial oversight of projects within Marine Geophysics, delivering accurate and timely financial information to Service Line Management.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting requirements, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all accounting transactions.
- Act as a business partner to the Service Line Management Team and other key stakeholders.
- Implement and drive the monthly project reporting and review process with Project Managers.
- Support, monitor, and challenge CAPEX applications.
- Promote adherence to Revenue Recognition procedures in compliance with Fugro policy.
- Monitor the accuracy and upkeep of manpower and equipment rates in compliance with Fugro Standard Business Processes.
- Support the Business Controller with Finance Business Partnering, project control, and reporting for the Service line/Entity, delivering meaningful, accurate, and timely management reporting and business performance analysis.
- Provide additional support as required by the Business Controller, Regional Service Line Controller, or Service Line Management Team.
- Experienced Management Accountant, either part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
- BSc. degree in a relevant discipline such as Economics or Business Administration.
- Relevant project experience with a strong affinity for financial topics, project risks, and excellent Excel skills.
- Experience in project management accounting, budgets, and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels (finance, business management, operations) with a strong command of the English language.
