- Manage all outlet employees for performance, Member, and guest experience, ensure teams appearance and attendance, ensure daily and shift briefings.
- Work closely with the F&B Service Managers and other departments of the Club in connection with the Food & Beverage service operation and assist them in carrying out their assigned responsibilities.
- Build and develop strong relationships with all Members, BOG, and committee Members.
- Ensure administrative and operational tasks are completed in a timely manner and consistently look for ways to improve business and service standards.
- Maintain a strong relationship with the kitchen and chefs and ensure regular and effective communication with BOH teams.
- Maintain safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Carry out frequent inspections to ensure that all safety, sanitation, energy management, breakage control, preventive maintenance and other standards pertaining to the outlet.
- Assure that effective orientation, departmental induction and training for new Employees and professional development activities for experienced Employees are planned and implemented.
- Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
- Lead by example and strive to exceed Member and guest expectations and serve as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviours, set a high example of excellent member service and create a positive atmosphere for member relations.
- Consistently demonstrate leadership and direction to all employees. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, food and beverage policies, standards, and procedures.
- Make suggestions to the Senior Management team regarding improvements.
- Improve service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand member needs, providing guidance, feedback and individual coaching when needed.
- Efficiently and effectively handle Member concerns. Ensure corrective action is taken to continuously improve service results.
- Conduct, represent and attend training and daily or weekly team meetings/briefings.
- Recognize excellent service and work and praise, motivate and encourage team.
- Duties as assigned by the Senior Management team.
- Assist operational team on the floor during meal periods and high demand times.
- Recognize good quality products and presentation.
- Oversee the financial requirements of the department.
