- Supervise and manage classrooms during teacher absence.
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and instructions to students.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

- A Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject area.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, or equivalent teaching certification.
- Subject-specific qualifications for specialised teaching roles.
- Teaching Assistant qualifications.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Proficiency in lesson planning, delivery, and assessment. Competence in using educational technology for teaching and administrative purposes.
- Classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment. Adaptability to meet the needs of diverse learners. Organisation and time management skills for effective lesson planning and administrative tasks.
- Previous experience teaching in a secondary school setting is desirable.
- Experience working with students of different abilities and backgrounds.
- Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum or relevant exam board specifications.
