As part of Finance team, L'Oreal Warsaw Plant (located in Kanie) is looking for the position of Chief Accountant reporting to plant's CFO and Chief Accountant of L'Oreal Polska and Baltics. The position demands an individual who is a right mix of Accounting and Process expert as well as skilled Manager. In direct connection and collaboration with our L'Oreal Business service center (BEST) based in Warsaw, you have daily exchange and coordinate with them for all the accounting process improvement and enhancement.Main responsibilities

Own the production of local financial statements and reporting within the deadlines set by the Group and the various legal bodies. i.e. Consolidation reporting and end of year local accounts, tax and legal statements etc.
Ensure close collaboration with other local teams (Controlling, Affairs, Tax, Legal, HR, etc.) to facilitate the production of accounts and the implementation of new local or Group/Zone initiative.
Organize, animate transversal teams, and perform activities to guarantee the quality of accounting services (measured by 'Pay on time' KPI…)
Propose and implement improvements and automation for existing reporting processes.
Preparation of data for transfer pricing documentation in cooperation with a tax advisor.
Check that the Group's accounting procedures and principles are correctly applied to ensure the quality and reliability of the Group's monthly/quarterly/yearly accounts.
Keep continuously informed and understands the evolution of local regulations regarding accounting GAAPs and fiscal regulations and initiate appropriate changes in systems and procedures

Internal Interactions - Controlling Teams, Legal, Taxation, Operations Team, Group/Zone Office, BEST (Shared Service Centre)
External Interaction - Group Auditors, Statutory Auditors, Tax office etc.

Experience required

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chief Accountant/Accounting Manager, knowledge of IFRS.
Experience in a production company will be a great advantage.
Experience in working with a shared services centre or multinational company will be an additional advantage.
Practical knowledge of CIT and VAT regulations, including WDT, WNT, export and import.
Knowledge of SAP will be a great asset.
Interested to work in a dynamic and international environment.
