RoleA senior communicator, the Head of Communications, Branding and Marcom will strategically lead the corporate communication and employer branding activities in ING Hubs Philippines.Building and leading the communication team, they will be key to further strengthen our brand position while providing communication direction across the organization in 4 key work areas: Internal communication, External communication & PR, Employer Branding and Marketing Communication.This is both a strategic and hands on role that requires a cross-disciplinary approach to engage with the tech & operations communities in the Philippines, strengthen the ING brand and position ING as a desired employer on the market.Main duties and responsibilities
  • Manage external communication, PR, marcom and employer branding activities on the local market
  • Work in close collaboration and alignment with the global communication & marketing network in ING and with the communication community of the hubs (Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Turkey) under a shared mission to strengthen the global ING brand
  • Manage internal communication across the local organization, in alignment with internal stakeholders and the management team
  • Build and lead the local communication team
  • Manage the communication budget
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of all marketing/communications activity

The ideal candidate:- has already held a similar role and is used to managing teams and has a proven track record of strategy development and operational delivery-is used to working in a fast-paced environment, has strong team management and mentoring skills and drive marketing and communications excellence.- is familiar with the tech and shared service industries and is passionate about employer branding and talent acquisition- has high level project management skills as well as the ability to work well with a varied range stakeholders.- understands the importance of excellent marketing communications and takes a creative approach in driving brand recognition, market penetration and community engagement.Reporting linesThe Head of communication, branding and marcom will hierarchically report to the Country Head of ING Hubs Philippines and functionally to the Global Communication, Brand and Marcom Lead for Hubs.Essential qualifications, skills and experience
  • At least 10 years of work experience in strategic marketing/communications
  • At least 5 years experience in a managerial position
  • Proven track record in development and delivery of strategic communication and marketing across a range of budgets and channels
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills and ability to engage with senior leaders and stakeholders, as well as to work collaboratively across peer network
  • Engaging and resilient leader, able to empower colleagues and build capability.
