CareerWise Recruitment are delighted to be working with a Transaction and Advisory firm in Cork City Centre on a new role that has recently come available for an experienced Accounts Assistant.This role would be based fully on site in the city centre, and will join a small finance function.Please see below the responsibilities and some requirements in order to be successful in this process.Role of this position

Processing of accounting transactions and invoices etc

Prepare and file VAT returns to Revenue

Monthly balance sheet reconciliations

Processing of client bank payments

Supporting the preparation of final accounts

Run weekly and monthly payroll and submit to Revenue

Assisting senior members of the team in terms of delivery of corporate transactions

Ad-hoc work as required

Client management

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualified Accounting Technician or similar qualification desirable

Experience working in a similar firm in a similar role also desirable

Excellent attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work as part of a team and independently as required.
