Senior/Executive, Data Governance and Protection OfficeThe Senior / Executive role in the Data Governance and Protection Office's Policy Unit has the following responsibilities:Responsibilities: * Support the Head of the DGP Policy Unit in achieving her key objectives, which include:
  • Assists the Head in the development and review of NUHS Data Governance and Protection Policies. This includes identifying new DGP risks for risk mitigation via policy instruments, review of current DGP policies for policy and implementation effectiveness, translation of MOH policy requirements into NUHS policy requirements etc.
  • Assists the Head in review of Data Protection Impact Assessments submitted to DGPO. Assists the Head in ensuring that DPIAs accurately reflect the data protection risks of the project and that the risks have been adequately mitigated.
  • Assists the Head in provision of advice to NUHS colleagues on DGP policies and data protection/personal data usage issues. Tracks incoming queries and issues in the DGP common mailbox for triage and escalation to the appropriate subject matter expert.
  • Assists the Head in reviewing Data Sharing Agreements
  • Assists the Head in horizon scanning of new data protection and privacy risks, legislative changes and PDPC decisions.
  • Assists the Head and GCDGPO in the coordination and organization of meetings related to DGPO's policy and data protection work.
Requirements:
  • Min Degree in Data Protection / Governance / IT related.
  • 1 to 2 years prior experience in data protection/privacy policy or operations. Fresh graduates are also welcomed.
  • Interest in Data Protection and/or Data Privacy
  • Good writing, summarization, and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and multi-tasking skills.
  • Possess resourcefulness, efficiency, and ability to meet tight timelines.
