Our financial services client is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join them on a 12 month contract basis. You will collaborate with cross functional teams to design, develop and implement data solutions that are secure, stable and meet business needs.They're building a new pipeline covering ingestion, integrated, semantic and application layers with end to end data quality governance.Core responsibilities:

Design & develop end to end data pipelines using GCP, BigQuery, mySQL & Python
Work with the Data Engineering Lead to design, develop and maintain the Rest data model

Experience:

7-10 years' experience in a similar data engineering role
Extensive experience in building end to end data pipelines in GCP environment
Excellent logical and physical data modelling skills as well as extensive experience in efficient SQL development and query performance & tuning
Strong working knowledge of GCP, BigQuery stack
