Sr CPU Physical Design Engineer

- This individual will be responsible for participating and driving large design blocks from the early design stage to tape out.
- Work responsibilities include synthesizing extremely high-speed designs, following through with Place and Route analyzing design results, and making changes to the RTL code as needed.
- Work involves daily interaction with other physical designers as well as with RTL/Logic designers.
- Knowledge of Logic Design and Synthesis.
- Experience with Timing Closure, Circuit Design, Electrical Closure, and Memory Compiler Work.
- Proven understanding of RTL, microarchitecture, Physical Design CAD tools, and scripting languages (Perl, Python)
- Knowledge of high-speed microprocessor designs and architecture.
- Ability to work independently on complex tasks.
- Knowledge of current sub-micro technologies.
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree required with emphasis in Electrical Engineering or Computer Systems Engineering
