- Monitor daily loads and deliveries to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Spend time in the loading area, conducting hands-on checks of loads and ensuring compliance with quality standards
- Coordinate with contractors and carriers to optimize routes and resource allocation
- Analyze delivery data to identify areas for improvement and implement optimization strategies
- Assist in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures for home delivery logistics
- Collaborate with the Operations Team to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Hands-on and proactive, comfortable spending time in the loading area and out in the field
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a keen eye for optimizing processes
- Strong problem-solver who can think on their feet and adapt to changing circumstances
- Excellent communicator and collaborator, able to build strong relationships with contractors and carriers
- Data-savvy and analytical, comfortable using logistics software and systems
- Physically fit and able to lift and move packages as needed
- 2-4 years of experience in logistics coordination or planning, preferably in home delivery
- Comfortable working in a loading area and conducting hands-on checks of loads
- Strong understanding of route optimization and resource allocation strategies
- Proficient in transportation management software and MS Office
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Candidates without experience in logistics coordination or planning
- Individuals who lack attention to detail or struggle with time management
