- Ensure product delivery success by executing on Technical Product Manager best practices in an agile environment
- Synchronize with the Product Manager/s, Engineering and other Technical Product Managers to ensure new work is brought into the backlog and prioritized appropriately across the teams
- Create user stories from collated requirements by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, working with the development team/s and architecture to implement the user stories including all undocumented edge cases and non-functional requirements (performance, scale, redundancy etc.)
- Develop deep functional knowledge and understand the technical composition of systems that support it, ensuring products comply with airline and industry technical standards
- Ensure everyone in the team understands the user story and is aligned in the development process
- Participate in daily scrum, planning meetings and iteration reviews or comparable agile ceremonies, to ensure team schedules/tasks reflect the prioritized backlogs. Contribute to lessons learned to continually improve team's performance
- Capable of making decisions based on current information and keeping stakeholders informed
- Responsible for User Acceptance Criteria & Sign Off (ensuring the requirements are clear to enable acceptance criteria to be met; ensuring sign off against the criteria)
- The Technical Product Manager will have an understanding of the market and is focused on maximizing value for the customer
- The Technical Product Manager inspires the agile team to work together to achieve the product goals and communicates the broader Product Strategy to foster an engaged, proactive and innovative Delivery Team which is able to perform within its scope and within timeboxed commitments.
- Working knowledge of Agile principles; Technical Product Manager (Product Owner) experience
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Webex Teams, Slack, and JIRA
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Ability and desire to work with people all over the world, with the probability of a varying work schedule to accommodate different time zones
- Ability to articulately communicate and express complex concepts concisely and effectively
- Familiarized with working with Objectives and Key results framework and using a metric-driven approach
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams and facilitate conversations that lead to agreed direction
- Bachelor's degree or equivalently qualified by experience
- Able to travel 5-10% of the time
- Experience within the travel industry is desired and experience with air fare pricing is preferred
- Language: English (Proficient)
