What the role is:We are looking for resourceful and service-oriented individuals to join the Operations & Facilities Management Department which oversees the operation and maintenance of Government cemeteries, crematoria and columbaria. You will support the Assistant Manager/ Section Lead to manage the facilities within CCK Columbarium and Cemetery sites.What you will be working on:Carry out routine inspections within CCK Cemetery & Columbarium complex.Coordinate with contractors registered with NEA, to ensure installation works are followed up promptly and in compliance with rules and regulations requirements.Track works progression, and ensure reports are submitted as scheduled.Work with the relevant agencies and stakeholders on site management related works.Issue Purchase Orders (POs) to contractors.Conduct site verification on works done and manage payment to contractors, including tracking expenditure.Consolidate, update, track and maintain inventory central database.Conduct regular meetings and audit of contractorsAttend, investigate and resolve feedback from members of public and stakeholdersPerform other duties assigned by supervisorWhat we are looking for:A keen interest in environmental public health mattersGood written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) and managing databasesHighly self-motivated and able to work outdoorsMeticulous, analytical, and able to multi-taskEnjoy working with others in a teamAble and willing to work on weekendsPreferably with Class 2 or 3 license and is willing to drive available department vehicle for work purposeApplicants will be updated on the status of their applications within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job posting.As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.About National Environment Agency:The National Environment Agency (NEA) is the leading public organisation responsible for ensuring a clean and sustainable environment for Singapore.
